Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information MARMO Stone Studio ("MARMO", "we", "us") collects through marmo-stone.com, why, who receives it, and the rights you have. You are never required to accept analytics or advertising cookies to use this website or to buy from us.
What we collect, and why
- Contact form and quotation requests — your name, email address, optional phone number, the piece you ask about, the dimensions and stone you request, and any message. We use it to answer you and prepare a written quotation. You choose whether to send it; without name and email we cannot reply.
- Purchases (the lamp) — your name, email, phone, delivery address and notes, the items bought and the amount paid. We use it to take payment, deliver, issue your receipt, and keep the records the law requires. Without these details we cannot complete the order. Card details are entered only on the payment page of our payment provider, CardCom; we never see or store them.
- Order confirmation email — sent to the address you give, containing your order, our details and your cancellation rights.
- Analytics (only if you accept cookies) — Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location and device/browser type; your IP address is anonymised.
- Advertising measurement (only if you accept cookies) — the Meta Pixel records pages and products viewed, checkout started and purchases completed (with the order value). With Meta's automatic advanced matching, the pixel also reads the name, email address and phone number you type into forms on this site and sends them to Meta in hashed (encrypted) form so Meta can match them to a Meta account and measure our advertising. This runs only after you accept; if you decline, nothing is sent. After a purchase, our server may also send Meta (its Conversions API) your IP address, browser, and your email, phone, name, city and country in hashed (encrypted) form so Meta can match the purchase to your account. If you decline cookies, none of this is collected or sent.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails or messages.
Content loaded from other companies on every visit
Whether or not you accept cookies, loading a page makes your browser contact the following services, which therefore receive your IP address and browser details: Netlify (our hosting), Google Fonts (the fonts used on the site) and jsDelivr (a content network that delivers our accessibility menu). Links to Instagram and WhatsApp take you to those services, under their own policies.
Who receives your information
- Netlify — hosts the website, receives contact and quotation form submissions, and stores order records.
- Fly.io — hosts our private studio workspace (a password-protected system in the European Union), where quotation requests and our customer quotes are kept and managed.
- Google (Gmail) — we send quotations and replies to you from our Gmail account, so Google processes those emails and their contents.
- CardCom — processes your card payment on its own secure page and issues your receipt or invoice.
- Resend — sends our order confirmation emails; Make.com — sends the automatic confirmation after you submit the contact form.
- Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel and Conversions API) — only with your consent, as described above.
- A courier or installer — only your delivery details, only to deliver your order.
Access to our studio workspace is limited to the owner and protected by a login. These providers process data under their own terms. We share your information with no one else except where the law requires it.
International transfers
Several of these providers (for example Netlify, Google, Meta, Resend and Make.com) may process or store information on servers outside Israel. We choose established providers and share only what each needs.
Cookies and consent
We use local browser storage for essential functions, such as remembering your cart and your cookie choice. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel load only after you click Accept; Decline has the same prominence. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by contacting us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and quotation details for as long as needed to handle your request and the related relationship; we do not delete them automatically, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires accounting and tax records to be kept. After that, or on your request where we are not legally required to keep them, we delete them.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, access to our order records and form submissions is limited to MARMO and our providers' protected systems, and we keep only what we need. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures against unauthorised access, change or disclosure.
Your rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, and to have it deleted where the law allows, and you may withdraw consent you gave for cookies at any time. Write to us at the address below. You may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority.
Children
This website is for adults and is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest revision.
