These terms govern your use of marmo-stone.com and the way we present our work and handle enquiries. By using this website or contacting us through it, you agree to these terms. This website is operated by MARMO Stone Studio (operated by Ori Levi) ("MARMO", "we", "us").

Our work & natural materials

MARMO creates sculptural furniture and objects in natural stone. Because every piece is worked from natural material, veining, colour, texture, and tone vary from one piece to the next. Photographs on this website are illustrative and are intended to convey character and design — the piece you receive will be uniquely its own and may differ from the images shown. These variations are inherent to natural stone and are not defects.

Pieces made to your specifications

Every piece in the MARMO collection, except the lamp, is made to your specifications. An enquiry through the website is a request for information and is not an order. You tell us the size, stone and finish you want; we send you a written quotation stating the full price, the delivery and installation cost, and the delivery period (up to 4 months). Work starts only after you approve the quotation in writing and pay. Prices shown on the website for these pieces are indicative.

Under the Consumer Protection Law, the right to cancel a distance sale does not apply to goods made specially for the consumer to the consumer’s particular measurements or requirements. This exception does not remove your rights under law if a piece has a defect or does not match what was agreed in your quotation.

The lamp and pieces in stock: buying online

The Travertine Dome Lamp, and any piece we mark as available to buy, can be bought through the website checkout. The total price, including delivery, is shown before you pay. Delivery in Israel is included in the price (shown in ₪). For delivery abroad, prices are shown in US dollars and a delivery fee of $200 is added at checkout. Payment is taken in full at checkout through our payment provider CardCom; we never see or store your card details. Your order is accepted once payment is confirmed and we have sent you an order confirmation by email. Pieces in stock are dispatched within 14 business days and delivered to you within up to 2 months of your order.

Your right to cancel (purchases made online)

If you buy through the website checkout, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods or the written purchase details, whichever is later. Longer periods apply to senior citizens, persons with disabilities and new immigrants, as the law provides. We may charge a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower. No fee applies if you cancel because of a defect, a mismatch with the description, or late delivery. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, to the payment method used. If you cancel without a defect or mismatch, you bear the cost of returning the item. Goods must be returned unused and undamaged.

To cancel, use the Cancel an order Cookie settings page, or email studio@marmo-stone.com or message +972 52-678-6664 with your name, ID number, order number and the item. This right does not apply to goods made specially for you as described above.

Delivery

Large stone pieces are heavy (some weigh more than 300 kg). Please tell us in advance about stairs, lifts, doorways and parking at the delivery address so delivery can be planned; any delivery and installation arrangements are stated in your quotation or at checkout. Import duties and taxes due in your country are the recipient’s responsibility. Please inspect your piece on delivery. If it arrives damaged, tell us and send photographs as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, so we can arrange a remedy quickly. This request does not limit any right you have under law.

Defects and natural variation

Because every piece is worked from natural stone, veining, colour, texture and tone vary from piece to piece, and photographs on this website are illustrative. This normal variation is not a defect. A piece that has a defect, or that differs materially from what was described or agreed, does not conform to the sale; you keep your rights under law in that case.

Warranty

Electrical components of lit pieces and lighting (LED, driver, power supply, battery and charger) carry a one-year limited warranty from delivery. The warranty does not extend to the stone itself. It is in addition to, and does not reduce, your rights under law.

Pricing

Prices are in the currency shown (₪ for Israel, US dollars abroad) and are final prices; no VAT is charged. The price of a piece made to your specifications is the price in your written quotation.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including designs, images, text, the MARMO name, and branding — is the property of MARMO or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided on an "as is" basis. While we take care to keep its information accurate, we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MARMO is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute relating to them or to this website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the revision date at the top will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
